How long does an order take? We send a proof within 2 business days. Once you approve it, most pieces are ready in 3-5 business days, plus shipping time.

How do I send my photo? Upload it on the product page before you add to cart. You can also email it to landrdesignco@gmail.com with your order number.

What photos work best for lithophanes? Clear, well-lit photos where faces are large in the frame. Close-ups work better than wide group shots, and simple backgrounds work better than busy ones. Not sure? Send it, and we'll tell you honestly how it will turn out before you order.

What is a lithophane? A lithophane is a thin 3D-printed panel with your photo shaped into it. Unlit, it looks like white carved relief. When light shines through, your photo appears in soft, glowing detail.

Can I see it before you make it? Yes. Every order gets a proof, and nothing is made until you approve it. Changes are free until then.

Do you ship? Yes, anywhere in the continental U.S. Free local pickup is available in La Grange, NC.

Can you make something that isn't in the shop? Probably. Tell us your idea on our Custom Orders page and we'll reply with a price and a proof.

Do you do bulk orders for businesses? Yes. We make closing gifts for realtors, employee recognition awards, and memorial keepsakes for funeral homes and vet practices. Email us for bulk pricing, and we're glad to bring samples by if you're local.

How do I care for slate and wood? Slate: wipe with a damp cloth. Cutting boards: hand wash, dry right away, and rub with food-safe mineral oil once a month. Never put either in the dishwasher.

What's your Christmas deadline? Personalized Christmas orders close December 10. Ready-to-ship gifts ordered by December 17 should arrive by Christmas, and local pickup is available through December 20.
